Words in Bold in the Bible verses are for emphasis.
What does the New International version (NIV), say about Jesus Christ being God? Let's look at one example, and compare how the following verse reads in both the King James Version (KJV) and then in the NIV.
In the KJV we are told that we can understand God’s love because He laid down His life for us! And because we know that it was Jesus Christ who laid down His life for us on the cross; this verse is telling us that Jesus Christ is God!
(KJV) King James Version
1 John 3:16
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
And this is how that same verse has been changed by sinful men and/or women in the NIV. The NIV has changed God’s Holy Words to remove the clear teaching that Jesus Christ is God!
New International Version
1 John 3:16
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.
Shame on those involved in writing and publishing the NIV version of the Bible!!
God warns us at the end of His Holy Word what will happen to those who add to or take away from His Word!
Revelation
22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
And this is just one example of the corruption in the NIV.
